TORONTO COCKTAIL CONFERENCE

TOCC is an education-focused conference aimed at bartenders, cocktail enthusiasts and the cocktail curious. TOCC began in 2018 and is the largest conference of its kind in Canada.

To our Toronto (and extended) bartending community

As the cocktail festival landscape continues to evolve rapidly, we have made the very difficult decision to not host Toronto Cocktail Conference in 2025. A pause, not an end.

This decision was not made lightly. Off and on (thanks, pandemic!) in August for the last 7 years, our little independent cocktail conference has taken place. TOCC has been a celebration of bartending, cocktails, spirits and community. A space where memories were made, voices were amplified and the shared love of bartending brought us all together.

TOCC, while aligned with the taste of Bartender Atlas, has always been a collaborative effort, taking on a life of its own as a vital pillar of the Toronto hospitality scene. We are deeply grateful to the City of Toronto for being our Conference’s home for more than half of a decade, to the speakers who graced our stages with unforgettable seminars and to the attendees who have always brought unmatched energy year after year. A huge thanks to all of the brands, big and small, who have stepped up to support our vision. Thanks to our Trash Pandas and the staff of the Drake Hotel whose dedication and energy have been the backbone of every event and to the broader community whose spirit and support has made TOCC a truly unique experience. Your feedback has always told us that TOCC is something that is truly needed for the industry. Thanks to Jonathan Humphrey for co-founding Toronto Cocktail Conference alongside the three of us and for your inspiring vision.

Toronto will play host to a much larger global event later on this year and we look forward to the global spotlight that it will bring to our city and country.

Bartender Atlas will continue to produce events in 2025 and beyond. In May we will be celebrating our 9th year of doing great things that always have a focus on the bartending community. Our events and activations include our monthly Independent Study Day, cocktail competitions, seminars and so much more. We look forward to continuing to create spaces where cocktails, culture and community intersect in uplifting ways.

Please keep your eye on our Instagram and the Bartender Atlas Instagram for any upcoming announcements.

Best,
Jess, Gord & Josh
