Eleni Bock began slinging cocktails at Joey Polo Park in Winnipeg in 2014, and the move towards creating cocktail programs and working craft bars quickly followed suit.
She has maintained her focus within the realm of sustainable bartending since then and has happily worked the gamut of cocktail bars. From world renowned bars with molecular gastronomy at the helm, to bars with a focus on freestyles, or creating zero waste cocktail programs from scratch, she revels in the beauty and hopefulness of the industry and hopes to highlight a sense of community through all her endeavours.
Strengthened with the notion that the future is sustainable, her partner and her plan to open a zero-waste restaurant in 2025.
In 2023 she was named among final finalists in the Deanston Cut from A Different Tartan campaign in search of change maker bartenders who are champions of many causes. Eleni was named the winner of the inaugural search and cocktail competition, which returns 2024. Find her award-winning cocktail, The Root Race, here.
