Toronto born, Blake spent 11 years behind the bar in every position from barback to beverage director, immersing himself in the cocktail scene and always looking to learn more about the techniques and history behind our favourite flavours.
In 2020 he launched his online education platform The Bitter End Bar to tackle topics like burnout management, promote Canadian craft distillers, and address important issues like the correct pronunciation of the word “orgeat”.
In 2023 he became the Canadian Brand Ambassador for Bearface Whisky, and is now lucky enough to geek out about cool spirits as his day job, and travel across the country educating people on some of the amazing products this country has to offer.
