Linda Douglas

Linda Douglas | Toronto Cocktail Conference

Linda Douglas is a Los Angeles based bartender and hospitality leader focused on building stronger communities through the culture of hospitality. With over a decade in the bar and restaurant industry, Linda has helped open restaurants across the states, competed on major cocktail competition stages, and been recognized by Punch and VinePair as a Best New Bartender. Their work and perspective on the industry have been featured in Food & Wine, Los Angeles Times, Essence, and Forbes.

As the founder of PTO: Purposeful Time Off, Linda is reimagining how hospitality professionals gather and support one another. What began as a simple idea—creating ways for industry workers to connect beyond drink-centered events—has grown into community cleanups, volunteer initiatives, and neighbourhood gatherings that extend the spirit of hospitality beyond the bar and into the streets we work in.

As a child of immigrants who grew up between cultures, Linda carries a deep respect for the communities that shape this industry. Their work centres on genuine hospitality, sustainability for people and place, and the belief that the care we show our guests should also be extended to our colleagues, our neighbourhoods, and the future of hospitality itself.
