Liz Kalles is a home grown Toronto gal with 16 years of hospitality experience under her belt. She has been living and working in Vancouver since 2020, currently shaking tins at Mount Pleasant Vintage & Provisions. Although the winds of life have blown her to the west coast, she is thrilled to be back in her old stomping grounds for TOCC 2026! Liz was a North American finalist in Bombay Sapphire’s Most Imaginative Bartender in 2024, where she created ‘Last Call’, an interview series designed to show the human behind the hospitality role – think Parts Unknown meets Hot Ones. When she’s not pouring up boozy frozen coffees at MPV, Liz is working on utilizing her theatrical performance background to build more creative spaces for people in the hospitality community to feel seen and valued. Liz is passionate about a good layback, novelty sized items, and is a huge hockey fan.
