Now Calling Calgary home, Ryan is an avid cocktail competition bartender. He approaches every opportunity as a chance to learn from the work itself, the people around him and more importantly to meet new people. That mindset carries into his day to day as the Bar Manager of Shelter Cocktail Bar, where curiosity and shared growth shape how he leads and builds systems.
At his core, he believes that better bars come from stronger communities. Through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and creating spaces where people feel welcomed and included. His goal lately, is focused on building a stronger community in Calgary that helps empower and educate everyone in the industry.
