Maxime Hoerth is a French bartender, entrepreneur, and the first bartender to earn the prestigious Meilleur Ouvrier de France title in 2011. He began his career in Luxembourg and Switzerland before moving to Paris, where he worked his way up to leading the bar programs at the Four Seasons Hotel George V and Le Bristol Paris. After relocating to Canada, Maxime started fresh in Toronto and went on to co-found Bar Pompette, which has since earned international recognition for its distinctive approach to cocktails and hospitality. His latest project, Bar Allegro, explores a more relaxed and social expression of European aperitivo culture. Alongside his work in Toronto, Maxime is also a Beverage Consultant for Orient Express Sailing Yachts, contributing to the development of the beverage experience aboard the brand’s new luxury sailing yachts.
